As well as visiting schools and clubs, the Trust is available to visit your public event with the Maritime Bus, workshops or activities. If you are interested in having us at your event please email info@maritimearchaeologytrust.org in the first instance. We will be happy to provide a no-obligation quote. Sometimes alternative funding enables us to offer heavily-subsidised or free activities, so it is always worth enquiring.

We have attended:

National Oceanography Center's Ocean and Earth Science Day

A regular event on the Trust's calendar, the Ocean and Earth Science Day always draws vast numbers of people to see the science and maritime themed exhibits and activities around the NOC. Over the years we've had the Maritime Bus, facial reconstrution and even mini-excavation activities to educate and entertain.

Solent Careers Festival

Attended by young people from schools, colleges and higher education providers throughout Hampshire, this event aimed to better prepare young people for the world of work. The Trust attended with the Maritime Bus to promote awareness of maritime archaeology and the heritage sector.

Pumpkin Festival

This is a wonderful event run by the Jubilee Sailing Trust at Royal Victoria Country Park and another we have reguarly attended over the last few years. It always draws a large crowd. Last year our display centered around the PATHH Project.
