During these sessions participants create a short stop-motion animation that tells a maritime story using a special camera, props, characters and backgrounds.

Workshops can be done over the course of several sessions, on in one longer session, but please be aware lots of time is needed to make them the best they can be.

Please check out our Animation Videos page to see some examples of animations produced in these sessions. The 'West Wight Sunken Secrets' film was made by the Brightstone Brownies of the Isle of Wight, and the 'Grace Dieu' short was made by the Gifted and Talented young people from The Chamberlayne College of Arts in Southampton.
